The Summer School on Latin American Economies was created by ECLAC in 2000. It is a graduate program designed for young researchers interested in the economic development of Latin America, organized by the Division of Production, Productivity and Management.
The School covers the main areas of ECLAC’s expertise and for more than a decade has served as a space for dialogue. To fulfill this role, it has organized workshops and seminars on a wide range of issues. Now it undertakes a new challenge: To open a platform for scholars, practitioners and experts to debate issues related to economic growth and equality.
